Witches Brew: October After Hours
Tuesday, October 27 | 4:00–7:00 PM
FREE ADMISSION
Get into the Halloween spirit at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art's October After Hours! Join us for a spooktacular evening filled with art, history, literature, and festive fun for the whole family.
Enjoy a special history talk about artist Waylande Gregory in the auditorium at 5:00 PM, and join St. Joseph Reads for an engaging community book discussion featuring this year's selected book, Theo of Golden.
St. Joseph Reads gave away 300 copies of Theo of Golden, bringing together hundreds of readers with countless perspectives. Just like art, books are open to interpretation! Whether you loved the book, hated it, or landed somewhere in between, you're invited to share your thoughts and join the conversation. This lively discussion is an opportunity to connect with fellow readers, explore different viewpoints, and celebrate the power of storytelling.
There will also be creative art activities for kids to enjoy throughout the evening, making this a fun outing for all ages!
Costumes are encouraged, so dress up in your Halloween best and join the festivities! Dinner will be available for purchase for $8, along with a cash bar.
Admission is FREE! Bring your friends and family for an evening of art, conversation, and Halloween fun at the AKMA!
