Free Museum After Hours

  • Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art 2818 Frederick Avenue Saint Joseph, MO, 64506 United States (map)

Join us for this month’s After Hours event featuring Rachelle Gardner-Roe, the artist behind our newest exhibition, Our Very Nature. This interdisciplinary body of work offers a vibrant vision of the natural world through a blend of fiber, sculpture, painting, and poetry, all influenced by the artist's meditation practice. Centered on the idea of reconnecting with nature rather than seeing ourselves as separate from it, Gardner-Roe’s pieces range from joyfully explosive to serenely devotional, always encouraging viewers to look deeper. The evening will include an artist talk in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m., where Rachelle will share insights into her creative process and the inspiration behind the exhibit. As always, After Hours is free and open to the public. Dinner will be available for purchase from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., along with a cash bar and hands-on art activities for all to enjoy!
