Personalized Pincushions Workshop with Marylin Huskamp

Transform a favorite vintage cup, dish, or small container into a beautiful and functional pincushion in this creative workshop with artist Marylin Huskamp. Participants are encouraged to bring a treasured teacup, small bowl, or other decorative container to personalize and repurpose into a one-of-a-kind pincushion.
Marylin will provide a variety of fabrics, trims, buttons, beads, and other embellishments to help bring each project to life. If time allows, students will also create decorative pins to add a unique finishing touch to their pincushions. A small amount of hand sewing is involved, but no prior sewing experience is necessary.

Needles and thread
Students Are Encouraged to Bring:
A cup, dish, or other container for their pincushion
Any special trims, buttons, or embellishments they would like to incorporate
Students Must Bring:
Clear E6000 glue (minimum 2 oz.)
A limited number of Japanese teacups will be available for purchase during class while supplies last.
