Join pastel artist Jill Tichenor for a full-day en plein air pastel workshop set among the breathtaking blooms of Homeplace Fields Flower Farm. This special workshop is offered by invitation from farm owner Lynn Windmeyer, giving participants the rare opportunity to paint directly from life in this vibrant, working flower farm.

Jill will guide students through the fundamentals of outdoor pastel painting, including observing light and color, simplifying complex scenes, and capturing the atmosphere of the landscape with confidence. Whether you are new to pastels or looking to deepen your plein air practice, this workshop offers hands-on instruction in a relaxed, inspiring environment.

Participants will spend the day immersed in nature, learning how to translate the beauty of the farm into expressive pastel works. Please come prepared with your own pastel supplies and a sack lunch.
