Intro to Drawing with Alex Asher
Wednesdays, September 16 – October 7
5:30–7:30 PM
$150 per person (includes all four sessions)
Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to strengthen your drawing skills, this four-week course offers a welcoming introduction to the fundamentals of drawing. Instructor Alex Asher will guide students through the process of developing an initial composition while exploring perspective, line quality, shading, and value using both graphite pencils and charcoal.
Students will spend time drawing in the classroom as well as throughout the museum galleries, using artwork and museum spaces as inspiration. All supplies are included, and participants should meet in the classroom at the beginning of each session before venturing into the museum.
No previous drawing experience is required, just bring your curiosity and creativity!
