Colored Pencil Workshop with Wanda Taylor
Thursday, December 17 | 10:00 AM–4:00 PM

Join Wanda Taylor for a full-day workshop exploring the art of layering colored pencils over alcohol markers! Students will learn how to use alcohol markers to establish a vibrant base of color, then build depth, texture, and detail through colored pencil techniques. Wanda will provide step-by-step instruction on blending, layering, color relationships, and creating rich, dynamic artwork using both mediums.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to explore new techniques, expand your skills, and experiment with combining mediums in a relaxed, creative environment. Alcohol markers will be provided for students to use during the workshop.

Supply List:

  • Paper: Heavy drawing paper such as Strathmore 400 or smooth watercolor/mixed media paper suitable for alcohol markers and colored pencils.

  • Artist Grade Colored Pencils: Wanda recommends Faber-Castell Polychromos as an affordable favorite or Derwent Lightfast.

  • Eraser

  • Pencil sharpener

$110.00 per person, lunch included.
