Mah Jongg Party. A fun afternoon of great food, drinks, and prizes hosted by the Mah Jongg Mavens. This fundraiser for the museum was one of the sign-up parties offered during the 2010 Pot-o-Gold. 11:30am - 3:00 pm. $35 person. Event full.

Third Thursday Wine Tasting. Learn about and sample a variety of wines. Presented by Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits. 5:30 - 7:30 pm. $10 person.

Opening Reception for the exhibitions Tradition and Modernism in Colorado: Landscapes from the Moffett Collection and George Catlin's North American Indian Portfolio.

Museum Day. Join us in celebrating Smithsonian magazine's 5th Annual Museum Day. On this day, museums across the country invite the public to visit at no cost. We hope you'll take this opportunity to visit the museum's collection and current exhibitions. Free Admission. 1 - 4 pm.

Sunday. September 26
Fall Wine Walk. Thanks to the success of the Albrecht-Kemper's first Wine Walk this past Spring, we decided to have another one this fall! The Fall Wine Walk will be held at the Center Court Homes.  Guests will enjoy multiple wines and tasty delights to make this a truly special night out on the town. Participants will receive more information on the process and directions to each of the homes upon registration for the event. 5:00 - 7:00pm. Limited to 100 persons, so sign up quickly. $35 per person.

Sugarplum
The Sugarplum Festival is an annual event that kicks off the holiday season for residents of Saint Joseph and the surrounding areas. This major fundraiser for the Albrecht-Kemper features an exciting shopping experience, a holiday lunch cafe, a special preview night, a wine tasting, and so much more!  Local and regional vendors transform the Museum into a "Holiday Gift Gallery" that creates a warm, joyful, and unique holiday shopping experience. The Sugarplum Festival brings in local and regional vendors to provide you with a wonderful and unique shopping experience to get you in the holiday spirit! This year will also feature our popular "Festival of Trees" where you can bid on spectacular fully decorated trees to take home for your own holiday celebrations. We invite you to attend this winter celebration and support the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.

There will be a combination of both instructor-led and parent⁄child art activities available each week. There is no charge for the art activities, but family admission rates will apply

Tired of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party? Join the "Progressive Party"!! This fundraiser for the museum was one of the sign-up parties offered at the 2010 Pot-o-Gold. Wine and hor d’oeurves at the Corder’s vineyard, main course at the Meyers, and dessert at the Graves, vote progressive!!. Hosted by Casey & Carol Meyers, Bob & Karen Corder, and Jim and Karen Graves.  $75 per person.
